Join a Group
Life together happens in smaller circles: Grace Groups meeting in homes across the North Shore, women’s and men’s Bible studies, and Prayer Groups through the week. Rhythms like these are means of grace — ordinary practices of prayer, Scripture, and fellowship through which God does his deep work in us.
Grow
Find your role in the church
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.”— Ephesians 4:11–12
Everyone has a role. We believe God equips each of his people with spiritual gifts — not for our own sake, but for building up the body of Christ. Discovering your gifts, and putting them to use, is one of the richest ways to deepen fellowship and grow spiritually. Using what God gave you is itself a way of seeking him.
Serve
Use your gifts at Grace
Sunday mornings and the week between them run on people using what God gave them — welcoming, teaching, singing, praying, encouraging, shepherding. Take a look at all the ways to serve at Grace, then tell us what interests you and we’ll help you find your place. Service shapes the server — grace changes you on its way through you to others.
Seek daily
Pray — seek God daily
In truth, this step doesn’t come last — it comes before all the others, and it’s part of all we do. The most important next step isn’t a program — it’s the daily seeking of God that holds every other step together. We’re each in a different season, and there’s no black-and-white playbook for what comes next: knowing it takes discernment, wisdom, and above all seeking God himself. So make the first step each morning simple — turn to him and seek.
As you seek him, look for where God is already at work — around you and in you — and partner with him in his kingdom work.
Christians have always had practices for this — not achievements, but ways of making ourselves available to God and turned toward him, so that he can do his work in us and grow us:
- Prayer — honest, unhurried conversation with God
- Meditation — sitting with Scripture until it sits with you
- Fasting — making space that turns hunger into prayer
- Worship — together on Sundays, and in the everyday
- Study — going deeper into God’s Word
- Solitude — unplugging to be quiet and alone with God
