Serve at Grace Presbyterian Church

Find your role at Grace.

God gives each of us gifts to use in his church — “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12). When you share your time and talents, you strengthen our church community and reflect the love of Christ. Below are the ways you can volunteer at Grace, organized by area.

Sunday Service Volunteering

Volunteering on Sunday mornings is a meaningful way to connect with others while supporting the mission of Grace Presbyterian. By welcoming people or assisting with service elements, you’re playing an important part in creating a warm and worshipful experience.

  • Welcome Team — Make newcomers and regular attendees feel welcome as a greeter.
  • Worship & Choir — Serve through music as part of our worship team or choir.
  • Communion Usher — Guide the congregation as we come forward for communion.
  • Communion Server — Help serve the elements during communion.
  • Communion Cleanup — Help reset after communion each week.
  • Setup Service — Help prepare our worship space on Sunday mornings.
  • Cleanup Service — Help pack up and reset after the service.

If you’d like to volunteer and serve on Sunday mornings, please contact Melissa Brodahl.

Children’s Ministry

Serving in our Children’s Ministry is a chance to make a lasting impact on the next generation. By helping children grow in their faith, you’re not only serving them but also supporting their families and the church as a whole.

  • Sunday School — Teach or assist in classes for toddlers through 3rd grade, designed to help children explore their faith.
  • Grace Bible Camp (GBC) — Coming summer 2027, our summer program where kids dive deeper into biblical stories. Stay tuned for ways you can help.

We also welcome middle school students to serve as assistant leaders, providing them with an opportunity to grow as role models and future leaders.
