September 2026

For our first monthly update, we go back to the beginning — why?

Welcome to our first monthly RENEW update! Construction is humming along at 440 Ridge, and there is a lot to see.

During the first week of each month, we’ll share an update here on the progress of our building renewal — what’s happening now, what’s coming next, and a closer look at the work taking shape throughout the building.

But for our first update, we want to begin with the most important question: Why are we doing all of this in the first place?

From the construction site itself, Pastor Marshall answers that question.

At its heart, RENEW comes down to three things
01

Accessibility

A step-free, fully accessible building — so every neighbor and every member of our church family can come in, worship, participate, and belong.

02

Education

Real, dedicated classrooms for children, youth, and adults. With 65% more square footage, the renewed building will give us room to learn, gather, and grow together at every age.

03

Usability

A building that simply works better for ministry — flexible, secure, and welcoming spaces designed to serve our church and our neighbors not only on Sundays, but throughout the week.

And all of it serves something much bigger than a building.

Our vision at Grace is knowing Jesus and making him known. RENEW is about creating a place that better equips us to live out that calling: welcoming our neighbors, growing together in Christ, and serving God in our community and world.

The walls, classrooms, entrances, and gathering spaces taking shape at 440 Ridge are ultimately tools for that mission — and we’re grateful to see the vision becoming reality.

Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)
